July McAtee

I’m a writer, reader, mother-daughter-sister-aunt-niece, linguist, musician, teacher, high-tech worker bee, and traveler. I’m blogging my experiences as my daughter and I move from Silicon Valley to Japan and beyond. In the 80s and 90s, I lived in China, Japan, and France, and I’m pretty sure those places aren’t the same places they were then. I’m not the same person I was then, either, so we’re even.

I’d like to hear about you, too. We’re all foreigners as soon as we step outside our front door.

Warmly, July
